Who drinks it?
White tea has a long history in China and was the choice of the Chinese Royal Court, given as a tribute to the Emperor. Until recently, white tea remained largely unknown outside of China however, with the recent discoveries of white tea's remarkable health benefits, today, white tea is being discovered and enjoyed around the world. Sunnyside's White Pomegranate tea is a refreshing and uplifting tea everyone can enjoy. 

What is it? 
White tea is made from immature tea leaves picked shortly before the buds have fully opened. The tea takes its name from the silver fuzz that still covers the buds, which turn white when the tea is dried. 

Where is it from? 
Sunnyside's White Pomegranate Tea is grown in the Fujian province of China - an important area in the production of White Tea.

When should I drink it?
White tea is high in both antioxidants and caffeine, which makes it a perfect choice for those looking for an energy boost. Try it iced for Summer!

How is it harvested and processed?
White tea is the least processed of all the tea types and is the closest to the plant’s natural state. Sunnyside's White Pomegranate tea comes from the immature leaves and delicate buds which are allowed to oxidize naturally. Consisting of 2 leaves and a white bud from the Camiellia Sinensis plant, Sunnyside's White Pomegranate tea is blended with rose hips and pomegranate, creating a fresh, medium bodied, sweet and fruity tea.

Steeping Instructions:

  • 1.5 tsp per 12oz
  • 180f / 80c
  • 3.5 - 5 minutes
